UK&Co helps small and medium family businesses scale and builds thought leadership around why they matter to India's economic story. We're looking for a Research Associate / Manager with an investigative journalism instinct: someone who chases a thread until it unravels into a story nobody else was telling.

What You'll Work On

Industry Deep-Dives — Consumer goods, foundries, manufacturing, retail. Research that directly shapes strategy for the businesses we work with daily.

Government of Karnataka Think Tank Work — Contributing to reports on the Trillion Dollar Economy, jobs, the gig workforce, and healthcare policy. Research with a direct line to public policy.

A Content Portal, Built from Scratch — Podcasts, blogs, and sharp reports for our partner businesses — including how shocks like war ripple through specific industries. Real creative ownership, not a template calendar.

Who we're looking for

• Background in investigative journalism, research, or policy analysis
• Genuine curiosity about family businesses and India's economic engine room
• Equally comfortable with hard data and compelling storytelling
• Wants a career in research, not a pit stop
• Self-starter this function is being built, so you'll shape it
