Job summary

Lupin, based in Pune, Maharashtra, invites applications for a formulation development role to drive pre-formulation, formulation development, and tech transfer for domestic and ROW markets.

You will execute development, scale-up, and validation batches, collaborate with QA, Regulatory Affairs, Analytical, Production, and Supply Chain teams, and prepare comprehensive development documentation for regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-formulation studies, API characterization, and excipient compatibility studies.
• Perform literature search, patent review, and Reference Listed Drug (RLD) evaluation.
• Develop and optimize formulations for immediate-release and modified-release products.
• Execute development, scale-up, exhibit, registration, and validation batches.
• Troubleshoot formulation and process-related issues during development and manufacturing.
• Support technology transfer activities and commercial manufacturing.
• Evaluate product performance through dissolution, disintegration, hardness, friability, assay, and stability studies.
• Prepare and review development documents, protocols, reports, specifications, and technology transfer packages.
• Collaborate with Analytical, Production, Regulatory Affairs, QA, and Supply Chain teams.
• An individual would be working for Domestic/ ROW market only.
