Job summary

NGL Fine Chem seeks an experienced process development professional to lead multi-step organic synthesis of API intermediates and final products. You will develop and optimize routes for yield, purity and cost and drive scale-up from lab to commercial plant, while mentoring R&D scientists and ensuring quality and safety compliance.

Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Procurement and Regulatory teams to review routes, manage risk, and transfer technology, aiming at timely, compliant project

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-step organic synthesis of API intermediates and final products.
• Develop and optimize synthetic routes for improved yield, purity, and cost.
• Lead process development and optimization projects from lab to commercial scale.
• Review synthetic routes, process risks, and cost optimization strategies.
• Drive scale-up, technology transfer, and plant troubleshooting activities.
• Review technical reports, batch records, SOPs, and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Procurement, and Regulatory teams.
• Guide and mentor R&D scientists/executives while ensuring quality and safety compliance.
• Identify innovation opportunities and support continuous process improvement.
• Ensure projects are completed within quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
