Job summary

Exemed Pharmaceuticals in Vadodara, Gujarat seeks a DGM/GM – Projects & Engineering to lead greenfield/brownfield Pharma projects, engineering, utilities and maintenance for API and formulation facilities.

The role oversees end-to-end project planning, execution, commissioning and qualification, with responsibility for API/formulation plants, regulatory audits and CAPEX management. Strong leadership and vendor-management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering.
• 18–25 years of relevant experience in Pharma Projects & Engineering.
• Strong exposure to API/Formulation plants, greenfield/brownfield projects and regulatory audits.
• Excellent leadership, project management and vendor-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, commissioning and qualification.
• Manage API, formulation, injectable equipment and utility systems.
• Handle CAPEX, vendor management, technical evaluation, FAT/SAT and project timelines.
• Lead engineering & maintenance activities including HVAC, PW/WFI, pure steam, chillers, boilers, compressed air, nitrogen and vacuum systems.
• Ensure GMP, US FDA/EU GMP compliance and support regulatory/customer audits.
• Review URS, DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ, SOPs, Change Controls and Deviations.
• Lead and develop Projects, Engineering, Utility & Maintenance teams.
