Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in API pharmaceutical projects or plant expansion.
• Experience in cGMP, EHS, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute API plant expansion, process, utility, and infrastructure projects.
• Develop project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
• Coordinate FAT, SAT, installation, commissioning, and performance verification of equipment.
• Maintain project documentation per USFDA, EU GMP, WHO GMP guidelines.

Job Summary

Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is looking for an experienced Manager Projects to lead API plant expansion and greenfield/brownfield project execution. The role involves planning, execution, installation, commissioning, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with cGMP, EHS, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute API plant expansion, process, utility, and infrastructure projects.
• Develop project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
• Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and project handover.

Engineering & Technical

• Review engineering documents including P&IDs, layout drawings, GA drawings, and utility schemes.
• Ensure proper selection and installation of process equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, dryers, filters, and utility systems.
• Coordinate FAT, SAT, installation, commissioning, and performance verification of equipment.
• Resolve technical challenges during project execution.

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, and statutory regulations.
• Support validation activities including DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• Maintain project documentation in line with USFDA, EU GMP, WHO GMP, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate closely with QA and Validation teams for project approvals.

Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare CAPEX proposals and project budgets.
• Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety.
• Review and process contractor bills and project invoices.

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.

Experience

• 812 years of experience in API Pharmaceutical Projects, Plant Expansion, or Engineering Projects.

Preferred Skills

• API plant project execution experience.
• Knowledge of cGMP, EHS, USFDA, EU GMP, and WHO GMP requirements.
• Expertise in project planning, commissioning, and validation.
• Strong leadership, vendor management, and coordination skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities.

Compensation

• CTC: Up to 12.56 LPA (Based on experience and current compensation)
