Job summary

TestHiring in India seeks an experienced finance leader to manage day-to-day production of financial statements, tax filings, and compliance. You will build and mentor a growing team of accountants and bookkeepers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.

You will establish SOPs, review work for quality, and handle escalations with confidence while maintaining strong communication with clients and senior management.

• Experience preparing year-end statutory accounts and tax computations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review year-end statutory accounts under FRS 102 1A and FRS 105.
• Prepare and submit corporation tax computations and returns.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns on standard and other schemes.
• Prepare partnership and sole trader accounts.
• Submit RTI payroll filings and manage PAYE obligations.
• Handle Companies House compliance and filing.
• Build, manage and be accountable for a growing team of accountants and bookkeepers.
• Review, check and sign off work before it goes to clients.
• Mentor and coach budding accountants through their professional development.
• Set and maintain standard operating procedures across all service lines.
• Manage workload allocation and ensure deadlines are met.
• Own the quality assurance process: review standards, error tracking, continuous improvement.
• Communicate professionally with clients and business owners.
• Handle escalations and complex queries with confidence.
• Provide regular operational updates to the senior management and clients.
