• Hands-on UK statutory accounts and tax experience.
• Experience reviewing and coaching junior accountants.
• Fluent written and spoken English for client communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review year-end statutory accounts under FRS 102 1A and FRS 105.
• Prepare and submit corporation tax computations and returns.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns on standard and other schemes.
• Prepare partnership and sole trader accounts.
• Submit RTI payroll filings and manage PAYE obligations.
• Handle Companies House compliance and filing.
• Build, manage and be accountable for a growing team of accountants and bookkeepers.
• Review, check and sign off work before it goes to clients.
• Mentor and coach junior accountants through their development.
• Set and maintain standard operating procedures across all service lines.
• Manage workload allocation and ensure deadlines are met.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday,8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (UK hours). UK holidays

Restrictions

6 months probationperiod and one month’s salary retention deducted over six month; repaid aftercontinuous successfully staying with the company for two years.

TheRole

We are looking for a hands-on UK accountant who can leadfrom the front. You will personally produce accounts and tax work on a dailybasis whilst building and managing a growing team around you.

We are open to two types of candidate:

• Qualifiedor part-qualified ACCA with UK accounts and tax experience, ready to step intothe role from day one
• Ahigh-potential candidate with strong soft skills and technical aptitude, whomwe will support through ACCA qualification with a structured study and bondarrangement

For both, the non-negotiable is attitude: ownershipmentality, hunger to build, and the discipline to see it through.
