HITACHI VANTARA INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an External Reporting Analyst to support corporate financial reporting and regulatory disclosures. The role focuses on US GAAP, SEC reporting, and ensuring accuracy of external financial statements. You will work in a global matrixed environment with cross-functional stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and strong Excel/Oracle skills to review filings and disclosures efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA qualification is required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing external financial statements and regulatory filings.
• Public accounting background preferred.
• Experience in a global matrixed organisation.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review SEC filings (Annual Reports, 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and XBRL submissions.
• Review balance sheet for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and review cash flow statements and disclosures.
• Analyze financial information and validate external reporting data.
• Review footnote disclosures for US GAAP/SEC alignment.
• Coordinate with global internal stakeholders to support reporting.
• Maintain reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance.

External Reporting Analyst - Financial Services - 6+ Years - Gurugram/ Mumbai / Pune / Hyderabad

Location- Gurugram/ Mumbai / Pune / Hyderabad

We are looking for a detail-oriented External Reporting Analyst to support corporate financial reporting and ensure the accuracy and integrity of external financial statements and disclosures. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, with experience in preparing and reviewing regulatory filings. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and Oracle, and the ability to work in a global matrixed environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing SEC filings, including Annual Reports, Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, Form 8-K, and XBRL submissions.
• Reviewing balance sheet information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable reporting standards.
• Preparing and reviewing cash flow statements and supporting financial disclosures.
• Analysing financial information and validating the accuracy of external reporting data.
• Reviewing footnote disclosures to ensure consistency with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders across a global matrixed organisation to support financial reporting activities.
• Maintaining reporting accuracy and supporting compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a background in public accounting is preferred.
• CPA qualification is required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing external financial statements and regulatory filings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Oracle.
• Experience working in a global matrixed organisation.
• Familiarity with Workiva is an advantage.
