Job Title: Sr. Analyst - External Reporting Support

Momentive Business Services is committed to delivering exceptional value and support to our global operations. This role is part of the Global Finance Shared Services Team in India, supporting the Controllership Function and External Reporting Team by ensuring timely execution and delivery of financial reporting commitments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the external reporting effort to ensure compliance with IFRS/K‑IFRS and U.S. GAAP regulations.
• Conduct accounting technical research and write issue memos for accounting and disclosure matters.
• Maintain SOX 404 documentation and related testing for the financial reporting cycle.
• Provide support for special projects as needed by the Controllership and External Reporting team.
• Offer U.S. GAAP support to various Finance leaders.
• Assist with the annual external audit process to resolve accounting, auditing, and reporting issues.
• Support quarterly MOMH IFRS consolidations, IFRS footnotes for Korean Parent consolidations, and pension accounting under IFRS and U.S. GAAP.
• Aid in hedge accounting and related quarterly footnotes per IFRS.
• Provide IFRS support for MOM Holdings and administer the Lease Accelerator Tool for compliance.
• Support K‑SOX compliance efforts for the controllership team and prepare/assist in U.S. GAAP to IFRS convergence entries.
• Coordinate U.S. GAAP to IFRS financial statements for the External Reporting Team and collaborate with the Korean Parent as needed.
• Identify opportunities for digitization and automation within reporting processes.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA/CPA with a minimum of 4‑5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS is required (K‑IFRS preferred).
• Experience with financial statement preparation and consolidation.
• Basic understanding of SOX 404 compliance and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong working experience using One Stream, SAP/BW.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Exposure to transition from GAAP to IFRS.
