Job summary

Job description

Skyglimps Technologies is a drone services and solutions provider based in Kolkata, India. As part of our growth strategy, we run a DGCA-certified Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO) delivering industry-standard training to future UAV professionals. We are currently hiring Remote Pilot Instructors (Small Category) to join our core training team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Remote Pilot Certification (RPC) training as per DGCA guidelines
• Assist in RPTO operations, including facility readiness, documentation, equipment checks, curriculum delivery, and SOP adherence
• Attend and conduct workshops at colleges, institutions, and government bodies
• Maintain accurate student logbooks and training records
• Support UAV maintenance and airworthiness of the training fleet
• Coordinate with the Accountable Manager to run multiple student batches per month
• Perform equipment checks, maintenance supervision, and ensure readiness of drones and training infrastructure
• Participate in audits, inspections, and liaison with DGCA representatives during certification and operational phases
• Maintain detailed records of student progress, assessments, and flight logs

Requirements:

• Valid DGCA Remote Pilot Instructor (RPI) Certification, Small Category — mandatory. Applications without valid DGCA certification will be automatically rejected
• Freshers are welcome to apply, though 1-3 years of prior instructing or RPTO experience is preferred
• Strong communication skills and a structured, disciplined approach to training
• Must be willing to relocate to Kolkata, West Bengal
• Preference given to candidates already based in West Bengal
• Willingness to travel within and around Kolkata for engagements
• Must be fluent in Hindi and basic English
