Job summary

Morgan Eries is seeking a Relationship Officer to drive bancassurance activities within partner bank branches. You will market and sell life, health, general, or investment linked insurance products to the bank's existing customers in collaboration with bank staff.

Relationship Officer

Bancassurance (often termed a Bancassurance Relationship Manager) acts as the bridge between an insurance provider and a partner bank. Stationed within partner bank branches, the primary objective is to market and sell insurance products (life, health, general, or investment linked) to the bank's existing customer base by collaborating with bank staff.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Joint Selling: Build relationships with bank branch staff (Branch Managers, Tellers, Customer Service Executives) to receive qualified client leads. Conduct client consultations, pitched financial products, and close sales.
• Cross-Selling: Profile bank customers to identify financial gaps and cross-sell relevant life, health, or non-life insurance policies.
• Bank Staff Enablement & Training: Conduct product refresher sessions, campaign briefings, and training for branch staff so they can effectively spot insurance opportunities.

Portfolio & Renewal Management:

• Follow up on policy issuances, handle premium collection/renewals (persistency), and assist clients during claims or service requests.
• Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual targets for First Year Premium (FYP), policy count, and revenue goals.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to insurance regulatory guidelines (e.g., IRDAI/central bank guidelines), fair selling practices, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards.
