Job summary

Trent Limited is seeking a Regulatory Affairs & Compliance professional in Mumbai to handle FSSAI licensing and regulatory approvals for Head Office and Distribution Centre. You will classify products, manage labeling and packaging compliance, and coordinate with FSSAI officials and external labs to ensure ongoing compliance and product safety.

Role involves maintaining product dossiers, updating regulatory documentation, and supporting R&D during new product development and commercialization,

Qualifications

• FSSAI Licensing and regulatory documentation handling
• Product labelling and packaging regulations compliance
• Documentation and coordination with regulatory authorities
• Experience with FoSCoS and product testing requirements
• Knowledge of statutory requirements across Indian food safety norms

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit FSSAI license documents for Head Office and Distribution Centre
• Classify products and maintain KOB as per FSSAI compliance
• Update and maintain product categories and labelling requirements
• Coordinate and upload product test reports in FoSCoS twice a year
• Provide regulatory support for food product development and commercialization

Role Title: Regulatory Affairs & Compliance

1. FSSAI Licensing:


2. Preparation of documents required for FSSAI License of Head Office & Distribution Centre as per FSSR (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) 2011.


3. Submit online application and reply for FSSAI comments.


4. Classification of the products & relevant KOB as per FSSAI compliance.


5. Modification, addition & deletion of Product Categories (both Standard & Proprietary) as & when required and maintaining tracker of the same.


6. Documentation & coordination with FSSAI office.


7. Verification and uploading product test reports in FoSCoS (Food Safety Compliance System) twice a year.
