Job summary

Superchem Nutri Formulations is seeking a Regulatory Affairs professional to manage compliance of labels and products with FSSAI and local regulations in the nutraceuticals portfolio. The role involves licensing and registration activities, handling regulatory audits, coordinating with labs, distributors and partners, and guiding cross-functional teams to ensure timely approvals and adherence to standards.

Role & responsibilities

• Label Artworks compliance: Regulatory compliance of Products and Labels with respect to FSSR & Legal Metrology
• Develop products in compliance with FSSAI regulation
• Licensing and Registration: Modification or renewal FSSAI licenses, Halal Certification and documentation preparation.
• Handling and managing customer complaints related to FSSAI regulations
• Conducting nutritional testing food products portfolio and routine nutritional analysis for new product launches in coordination with the labs.
• Regulatory Audit To conduct regulatory audit (LM and FSSAI) to validate product and label compliance.
• Act as Regulatory champion for Nutraceuticals, leading and coordinating all regulatory strategies and topics related to Nutraceuticals
• Anticipate regulatory obstacles and emerging issues throughout the product lifecycle and develop solutions with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with local regulations
• Manage regulatory interactions with external stakeholders: distributors, consultants and partners
• Support process improvements, SOPs and implementation of best practices

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in Food & Nutraceuticals regulatory is preferred.
• Proficiency in English, proof reading skills and MS Office skills mandatory.
• Possesses logical, analytical and verbal skills
• Good team work, Independent and committed to work across functional departments
• Ability to read, analyse and interpret governmental regulations and reports, scientific or clinical publication and data.
