SearchLight HR is seeking a Senior Regulatory Controller with 10+ years of experience in fragrance regulatory consultancy and aroma chemicals. The role requires deep knowledge of IFRA standards, EU allergens, CMR classifications, and REACH registration considerations across multiple markets.

Responsibilities include preparing compliance assessments, evaluating formulations for regulatory restrictions, and handling customer regulatory queries.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fragrance, aroma chemical, and cosmetic product regulatory requirements.
• Experience in assessing country-specific regulatory requirements for Europe, USA, GCC, ASEAN and other international export markets.
• Experience in preparing fragrance compliance assessments based on raw material composition and regulatory databases.
• Ability to evaluate formulations and identify applicable regulatory restrictions, limitations, and substances of concern.
• Knowledge of IFRA Standards, EU Allergens, CMR classification, and other fragrance regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Respond to customer regulatory queries with technically accurate documentation.
• Prepare regulatory formats, compliance reports, declarations, and technical assessments.

Job Title: Regulatory Controller

Experience: 10+ years in Fragrance Regulatory Consultancy and Aroma Chemicals

Key Requirements

Fragrance & Cosmetic Regulatory Compliance

• Strong knowledge of fragrance, aroma chemical, and cosmetic product regulatory requirements.
• Experience in assessing country-specific regulatory requirements for Europe, USA, GCC countries, ASEAN countries (including Philippines and Vietnam), and other international export markets.

Fragrance Compliance Assessment

• Experience in preparing fragrance compliance assessments based on raw material composition and regulatory databases.
• Ability to evaluate formulations and identify applicable regulatory restrictions, limitations, and substances of concern.

Regulatory Guidelines & Data

• Strong knowledge of IFRA Standards, EU Allergens, CMR classification, and other relevant fragrance regulatory requirements.
• Ability to monitor and interpret regulatory updates from reliable and verified sources.
• Experience in hazard classification of fragrance mixtures for SDS preparation.
• Added advantage: Knowledge of EU, US, and country-specific GHS/CLP requirements.
• CLP & GHS Compliance

REACH & Chemical Registration

• Knowledge of the complete REACH registration process for fragrance and fragrance ingredients in EU, UK, Turkey, Korea, China, India, and other applicable markets.
• Knowledge of registration-related cost/reimbursement processes and documentation requirements.

Customer & Regulatory Queries

• Experience in handling and responding to customer regulatory queries and compliance requirements.
• Ability to provide technically accurate responses and supporting documentation.

Documentation & Reporting

• Experience in preparing regulatory formats, compliance reports, declarations, technical assessments, and customer-specific documentation.
• Strong ability to interpret regulatory data and communicate conclusions clearly.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Ability to effectively coordinate with Perfumers, QC, R&D, Sales, Consultants, External Laboratories, and Customers to resolve regulatory and compliance requirements.

Regulatory Updates & Consultancy

• Ability to independently track regulatory changes, assess their impact on fragrance formulations, and provide technical guidance to internal teams and customers.

Audits handle and Certifications for – Halal, Kosher, ISO,

• Project Submissions towards Sustainability Global platforms – EcoVadis, CDP, Sedex, SBTi etc.
