We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager, India & South Asia, located in India, to lead FARO Insights’ commercial activities across India and the South Asia region. Reporting to the Country Sales Director, this role will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy, driving sustainable and profitable growth, strengthening and developing the local sales organization in India and South Asia, and expanding FARO Insights’ market presence through both direct sales and distributor partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for India and the South Asia region, driving sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
  • Lead, coach and develop the local sales organization in India, driving growth and high performance in a competitive market
  • Monitor team performance against key metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate actions to drive performance.
  • Strengthen and expand the distributor and channel partner network across India and key South Asian markets, including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, and Nepal.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments to identify opportunities and support commercial decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term business growth.
  • Lead process and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and value-based selling across both the internal sales organization and distributor network.
  • Present sales performance, forecasts, market developments, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Sales
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B industrial or technology sales, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and commercial negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience managing projects and project resources.
  • Experience using Mircrosoft office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Proficient with CRM software and other sales tools, Salesforces preferred
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
