Responsibilities

• Lead the regional Operational Procurement organization and manage Procurement Managers and their teams.
• Ensure effective execution of the procurement process from requisition to PO closure and invoice resolution.
• Own regional operational performance, including KPIs, workload management, backlog control and service delivery.
• Act as the senior escalation point for operational procurement issues.
• Build strong relationships with Fleet Managers, General Managers, Finance and other stakeholders.
• Develop team capability, succession planning and leadership effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, controls, approved supplier requirements and audit standards.
• Drive implementation of Project Streamline and support automation, standardization and process improvements.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks that could impact procurement performance.

The Regional Procurement Operations Manager is a senior operational leadership role responsible for the day-to-day performance and management of Procurement Operations within a region. The position reports to the Vice President Procurement.

Purpose of the Role

The Regional Procurement Operations Manager is accountable for ensuring Procurement Operations delivers a reliable, efficient and consistent service. The role focuses on execution, operational performance, stakeholder satisfaction, people leadership, compliance and continuous improvement. It is intended to ensure Procurement is viewed as a trusted and proactive business partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the regional Operational Procurement organization and manage Procurement Managers and their teams.
• Ensure effective execution of the procurement process from approved requisition through purchase order closure and invoice resolution.
• Own regional operational performance, including KPIs, workload management, backlog control and service delivery.
• Act as the senior escalation point for operational procurement issues.
• Build strong relationships with Fleet Managers, General Managers, Finance and other stakeholders.
• Develop team capability, succession planning and leadership effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, controls, approved supplier requirements and audit standards.

This role is effectively the Head of Procurement Operations for the region. The focus is not on sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations or governance ownership, but on ensuring the procurement organization runs efficiently, delivers results, manages workload effectively, resolves operational issues, develops people and continuously improves performance. The Regional Procurement Operations Manager is accountable for making sure Procurement consistently delivers for the business.
