Job summary

Orchid Pharma Ltd. seeks a Regional Medical Specialist to bridge the company with healthcare professionals and optimize patient outcomes. You will educate customers, provide consultative support on antimicrobial products, and build a network of key opinion leaders within the region.

The role requires medical background (MBBS), clinical experience, and strong communication abilities; travel across hospitals and healthcare facilities will be necessary to deliver training and support.

Qualifications

• MBBS degree required with clinical exposure.
• Experience in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify target accounts and priorities within the region to support access.
• Coordinate with Medical Head, RM, CBM, and Sales Team.
• Participate in internal training and reporting activities.
• Monthly reporting to Medical Head.
• Engage with KOLs, external stakeholders, bodies, and CXOs to build networks regionally.
• Conduct in-service training sessions, webinars, and workshops for end-users.
• Engage with clinicians, microbiologists, pharmacists, and hospital administrators.
• Represent during scientific discussions and AMSP rollout.

Job Objective

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Regional Medical Specialist to join our team at Orchid Pharma Ltd. In this role, you will act as a crucial link between the organization and healthcare professionals, playing a key role in both the effective utilization of our pharmaceutical solutions and in providing consultative support to address clinical challenges. In this role, your focus will be on educating and empowering our customers, ensuring they receive the highest level of support to optimize patient outcomes and fully realize the value of our products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify target accounts & priorities within the region, to help sales team gain access to key decision makers, to build sales team’s capability
• Regular coordination with Medical Head, RM, CBM, and Sales Team
• Participation in internal training and reporting activities
• Monthly reporting to Medical head
• Collaborate with KOL’s, External stakeholders, Bodies & Associations, CXO’s of organizations and develop network and rapport within their regions to support the company cause and services.
• Conduct in-service training sessions, webinars, and workshops to enhance end-user knowledge and proficiency for both internal and external customers.
• Engagement with clinicians, microbiologists, pharmacists, and hospital administrators.
• Representation during scientific discussions and AMSP rollout.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare field - MBBS Doctors
• Clinical Experience in healthcare settings, such as a hospital or healthcare facility

Skills

• Strong clinical and scientific understanding (especially in antimicrobials)
• Communication and presentation skills
• Ability to interpret microbiology data and reports
• Self-motivated with strong time and project management
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital learning platform
