Job summary

KENT New Energy is hiring an experienced Regional Manager ESS to drive growth in energy storage across Madhya Pradesh, including Indore and Bhopal. You will build and manage distributor networks, lead sales teams, and achieve primary, secondary, and tertiary targets in Home, Commercial, and Industrial ESS segments.

The ideal candidate has 8–15 years of relevant sales experience with 3–5 years in team leadership, and a Graduate or MBA with Electrical/Electronics background preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate or MBA preferred with Electrical/Electronics background.
• 8–15 years of relevant sales experience, including 3–5 years in a team-handling role.
• Experience in Energy Storage Systems (ESS) or related solar/renewables is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the ESS business across the assigned state/region (Madhya Pradesh).
• Appoint and manage distributors, dealers, channel partners, EPCs, and institutional customers.
• Achieve primary, secondary, and tertiary sales targets.

KENT New Energy is hiring an experienced Regional Manager ESS to drive business growth and market expansion across a major location within Madhya Pradesh.

The role will be responsible for developing the regional ESS business, expanding the distributor and dealer network, managing sales teams, and achieving primary, secondary, and tertiary sales targets across Home, Commercial, and Industrial Energy Storage Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and grow the ESS business across the assigned state/region.
• Appoint and manage distributors, dealers, channel partners, EPCs, and institutional customers.
• Achieve primary, secondary, and tertiary sales targets.
• Identify new markets, customers, distributors, and business opportunities.
• Drive business across residential, commercial, and industrial ESS segments.
• Build strong and long-term relationships with channel partners and key customers.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.

Channel Management

• Develop and strengthen the distributor and dealer network.
• Ensure product availability and effective inventory planning at distributor level.
• Drive product visibility, branding, and promotional activities.
• Coordinate dealer meets, roadshows, exhibitions, and channel engagement programs.
• Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy payment discipline.
• Coordinate with technical and service teams for channel/customer support.

Team Management

• Recruit, train, and manage ASMs, FSOs, and other regional sales personnel.
• Define KPIs and sales targets for the team.
• Monitor daily market coverage, lead generation, and target achievement.
• Conduct regular market visits with the sales team.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.
• Train the team on ESS products, applications, and market positioning.
• Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and regional business plans.

Product / Industry Exposure

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following industries will be preferred:

Preferred Skills

• Strong experience in channel sales and distribution management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Established distributor/dealer network in the assigned state will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership and team-handling capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Good understanding of the ESS, solar, lithium battery, and inverter market.
• Strong market development and business expansion skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned state.
