Job summary

Selective Global Search is seeking a Regional Head of Project Execution for South India. Based in Chennai, you will drive end-to-end project execution across PEB and steel structures, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will lead site teams and manage multiple stakeholders, while expanding the builder/vendor network and ensuring strict safety and quality standards. Extensive travel across South India is required.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 15–20 years of experience in PEB/steel structure/industrial construction.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of PEB/steel structure projects, including erection, installation and commissioning.
• Manage site teams, contractors and resources to achieve quality, safety, cost and timeline targets.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects and contractors to resolve execution and technical issues.
• Ensure effective coordination with design, production, procurement, logistics and engineering teams.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, manpower, materials and subcontractor performance.
• Develop and strengthen the regional builder, contractor and consultant network.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard new builders, erection agencies and sub-vendors.
• Support regional business development through market intelligence, client relationships and new project opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality and statutory requirements.
• Travel extensively across South India for projects, clients and partner development.

• Experience in builder/vendor network development and onboarding will be preferred.
