We are hiring this role for a leading waterproofing organization.
- Designation: Regional Operations Head - EPC (Residential Construction)
- Min. Qualification: B.Tech. Civil
- Experience: 12 to 15 years
Role & Responsibility
Project Management
- Overall monitoring and managing deliverables as per defined sales billing of projects across the region.
- Ensuring timely execution to keep progress on agreed schedule.
- Monitoring costs & profit margins through periodic analysis and addressing gaps.
- Partnering with the safety team for implementation of safety guidelines to achieve zero nonconformities.
- Monitoring QA/QC controls on projects to ensure proper execution on site, adherence to SOPs/method statements, maintaining QAQC checklists, and contract documentation.
- Managing contract correspondence with clients, resolving customer NCs or disputes for smooth contract management.
- Analyzing bottlenecks or other operational hurdles and working with teams to resolve issues.
Manpower & Material Management
- Managing costs within budgets through optimal manpower and inventory deployment at sites.
- Ensuring timely labour payment in coordination with HO.
- Developing labour team as per sales budget and retaining them.
- Reviewing material availability as per four‑month forecast.
- Ensuring material consumption follows specified norms with waste control.
- Maintaining inventory to avoid idling of stocks.
- Ensuring proper utilization of tools, equipment and fixed assets with maintenance protocols.
- Keeping overhead and indirect costs within budget.
Project Cost & Margin Management
- Tracking weekly metrics: receivables against invoices, recovery of retention dues, inventory management.
- Tracking abstract conversion for all projects to certify invoices.
- Monitoring cash flows with sales team to ensure positive cash flow and debtors >180 days are reduced.
- Reviewing overdue abstracts and debtors with action plans to keep O/S <5% of total O/S.
- Ensuring O/S does not exceed 90 days for abstracts and 180 days for debtors; escalating sticky cases.
- Reviewing material price variations and their impact on gross profit; taking action to manage profit via price escalation or other measures.
- Driving execution of key initiatives with periodic reviews.
- Leading weekly operational reviews on HSE, QAQC, abstract conversions, debtors, retention, resource planning, sales forecasts, project schedules, SCM, inventory, equipment utilization, customer escalations, and material consumption.
- Preparing and conducting monthly reviews across regions and clusters based on OAAP.
- Organizing monthly reviews with KAM and Contracts teams to analyze order pipelines and resolve contract issues.
- Identifying under‑performing projects/regions/segments and implementing action plans; providing constructive feedback.
- Tracking team attrition monthly, analyzing exit reasons and partnering with HR for action.
- Ensuring team training on required modules of SPPBM.
Customer Management & Satisfaction
- Conducting periodic client meetings to check satisfaction levels and maintain future business prospects.
- Monitoring TAT for open client complaints/issues.
- Troubleshooting scope‑of‑work, abstract conversion, and amendment order issues.
- Ensuring customer billing schedules and maintaining 80% collections within <45 days post‑abstract conversion.
- Identifying opportunities to increase sales billing on existing projects and securing additional orders for increased scope.
- Engaging customers to sell PIL range of products in ongoing NPPL projects through SPOCs of Cipy and CC‑Roff.
Specific Candidate Profile
- Experience in executing projects and handling multiple projects.
- Experience in contract‑based construction work.
- Multitasking with knowledge of project costing and resource mobilization.
- Experience in abstract management to maintain cash flow.
