Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging, and on-brand Reels and short-form video content.
• Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, music, sound effects, and other visual elements to enhance storytelling.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, popular audio, and editing techniques specific to short-form video platforms.
• Collaborate closely with content creators, social media managers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver on creative vision.
• Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of projects.
• Optimize video content for various aspect ratios and platform specifications.
• Implement feedback effectively and iteratively to refine edits.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and client objectives.
• Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for new Reel concepts.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in short-form video content (Reels, Shorts).
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.
• Solid understanding of social media platforms and their respective content best practices.
• Excellent understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and rhythm.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of color correction and audio mixing.
• Experience with motion graphics (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
• Familiarity with graphic design principles.
• Videography skills (camera operation, lighting, basic sound recording).
