Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Record to Report Ops Specialist in Chennai to collect operational data, conduct analyses, reconcile transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting under international standards.

The role requires 7–11 years of R2R experience, Chartered Accountant or MBA, and English proficiency. The candidate will join Finance Operations, work with senior management and may rotate shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant or MBA is required.
• 7–11 years of experience in R2R and financial reporting roles.
• Knowledge of international accounting standards and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and solve moderately complex problems in financial reporting.
• Create new solutions or adapt existing methods as needed.
• Understand strategic direction from senior management and align team goals.
• Interact with supervisor and possibly with clients or other Accenture teams.
• Potentially manage small teams or lead work streams with clients or within Accenture.
• Work may involve rotational shifts as part of operations.

What would you do?

You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. A set of international accounting standards stating how particular types of transactions and other events should be reported in financial statements.

• In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems.
• May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.
• The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
• Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor.
• May interact with peers and or management levels at a client and or within Accenture.
• Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments.
• Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside.
• Individual would manage small teams and or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
