Job summary

Accenture PLC in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Record to Report Ops Specialist to support finance operations. You will determine financial outcomes by collecting data, analyzing reports, and reconciling transactions, contributing to month-end close and audits.

The role requires 7–11 years in Finance and Accounting with strong R2R experience in insurance, plus proficiency in Excel and Power BI. A bachelor’s degree inFinance related fields is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics or Accounting.
• 7 to 11 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, with at least 4 years in R2R in insurance and 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong command of UEP, IBNR & OSLR concepts and claim cost forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting for premiums, claims, reserves, reinsurance and investment transactions.
• Review journal entries, accruals, amortizations and provisions.
• Own month-end close governance and reporting; manage stakeholder communications.
• Ensure adherence to KPIs, SLAs and control requirements.
• Drive standardization and automation opportunities.
• Lead a team and support performance management.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Mentor team members and support knowledge management.

What would you do?

• You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
• Posting journal entries preparing balance sheet reconciliations reviewing entries and reconciliations preparing cash forecasting statement supporting month end closing preparing reports and supports in audits and invest banking.
• Develop and deliver solutions to insurance companies that insure underwritten policies with other institutions in order to offset their risk exposure.

What are we looking for?

• Primary skill - Reinsurance - P1
• Education : Bachelor degree in Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics , Accounting
• Experience : Up to 6-8 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, with at least 4 years in R2R in insurance industry and 3+ years in Managerial role
• Strong command of UEP,IBNR & OSLR concepts along with claim cost forecasting
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and data management tools
