Job summary

Accenture Bengaluru is seeking a Record to Report Ops Analyst to join the Finance Operations team. You will collect operational data reports, perform analyses, and reconcile transactions to help determine financial outcomes.

You will lead month-end close activities, prepare journals and ledgers, and support reporting under US GAAP, IFRS, and statutory requirements. A commerce/finance degree and 3–5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant P&C Industry experience.
• Familiarity with ERP systems ( SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journals, accruals, and supporting schedules.
• Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities.
• Execute balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aged reconciling items.
• Prepare premium, claims, and reinsurance accounting support schedules.
• Support financial reporting under US GAAP, IFRS, and Statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, internal controls, and audit requirements.

What would you do?

• You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
• Implementation of gen.
• ledger processes including yearend closing, journalizing.
• Creating and maintaining ledgers, ledger currencies, budgets, and journal entries, design to deliver a financial management solution including a flexible accounting structure, comprehensive journal processing, hierarchical summaries, intuitive inquiry and reporting as well as dynamic allocations and the management of commitments and expenditures also run Interface reports and perform close books of accounts.

What are we looking for?

• Primary skill - Financial Consolidation & Close Operations - P1
• Minimum 2-3 of relevant P&C Industry experience
• Ability to work with large volumes of data with accuracy
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Bachelor degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field
• Familiarity with ERP systems ( SAP, Oracle) is an advantage
