Qualifications

Citi is delighted to open applications for the Application Development and Software Engineering stream of its Reactivate Your Career Program. The Program is designed to help you transition from a career break into a career within financial services. You may have worked in the finance sector, the tech sector, or another industry altogether!

Returners in the Application Development and Software Engineering stream will have the opportunity to utilize their knowledge of application development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4 years of proven software development experience, specializing in Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, and Oracle.
• Full Stack Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of robust web applications.
• Back-End Development: Solid experience in developing server-side logic and APIs using languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Database Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, with a deep understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), particularly Oracle.
• AI: Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and interest in leveraging AI to enhance productivity.

Eligibility

• Have been on a career break for at least 18 months.
• Have a minimum of 4-5 years professional work experience in an Application Development/Software Engineering environment.
• Be eligible to live and work in India.
• Demonstrate natural curiosity and be motivated to learn new skills, with a proactive attitude toward new technologies and methodologies.
• Exhibit excellent teamwork, able to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Effective communicator with a problem-solving mindset and exhibit accountability.
• Possess working knowledge of English.
