Primary Responsibilities:

The Rating/Senior Rating Analyst would conduct end-to-end rating involving the following primary responsibilities:

• Credit analysis of financial instruments in the BFSI sector for banks, NBFCs, MFIs, and Structured Finance Products


• Financial analysis and ability to make financial projections of the financial instruments.


• Analytical rigor in the presentations to the rating committees


• Maintain excellent quality in the analysis and be up to date on the market/industry information and suitable and need-based rating actions.


• Interact with company management, auditors, bankers, and other lenders and visit companies and factories as part of the regular monitoring and data gathering.


• To take ownership of the folio by carrying out regular surveillance, monitoring, reviews every quarter / material event basis, tracking the performance of the companies concerning macroeconomic changes, and handling internal and external audit queries.


• Strictly adhere to standard operating procedures, regulations & and policies.


• Adept in meeting tight deadlines with no compromise on analytical quality


• Client interaction and managing good relations.

Competency / Skills:

• Analytical expertise in the Banks / NBFCs / MFIs / Structured Finance Products segment, including financial modeling, ratio analysis, and industry knowledge.


• Updated with the latest regulatory guidelines and circulars, especially in Structured Finance Products.


• Excellent verbal / written communication and presentation skills.


• Proficiency: Strong domain knowledge in credit assessment in the BFSI sector - Banks, NBFCs, MFIs and Structured Finance products


• Strong analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills to present the facts along with rating recommendations to the rating committees.
