Job summary

Paras Health seeks a Radiotherapy Technology professional to operate and maintain radiotherapy equipment, including LINAC, and to position patients accurately for treatment. You will assist CT simulation, support treatment planning, and verify delivered doses while upholding safety protocols.

The role requires collaboration with radiation oncologists and medical physicists, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to QA, infection control, and departmental procedures to ensure high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology is required.
• B.Sc. in Radiotherapy Technology or Radiation Therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiotherapy equipment including LINAC and other treatment machines.
• Position and immobilize patients accurately for radiation treatment.
• Perform CT simulation and assist with treatment planning and verification.
• Deliver prescribed radiation treatments following safety and radiation-protection protocols.
• Monitor patients during treatment and provide appropriate care and support.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
• Follow quality assurance, infection-control, and departmental procedures.
• Coordinate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists and other healthcare professionals.
