Qualifications

  • Graduate or postgraduate in accounting, finance or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in payroll accounting, RTR or payroll operations.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems - Oracle (Optional).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Validate payroll payfiles against HR inputs and system data.
  • Prepare payroll journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Perform staff cost, bonus, and payroll variance analysis.
  • Review payment trackers, PRF trackers, and withheld salary trackers.
  • Support salary disbursement activities, including bank file uploads and manual payment requests (MPRFs).
  • Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, payroll policies, and internal controls.
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in coordination with HR, Finance, and payroll vendors.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and ensure adherence to service delivery timelines.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Payroll Accounting Analyst to support end-to-end payroll accounting activities, ensuring accurate payroll processing, reconciliations, journal preparation, compliance, and reporting. The role will work closely with HR, Finance, and payroll vendors to ensure timely salary disbursement, payroll accuracy, and adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate payroll payfiles against HR inputs and system data.
