Valeo in Chennai is seeking an engineer to contribute to Engineering Disciplines within Software Development. You will work on design, validation, and compliance with development plans, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across the organization.

You will perform simulations and calculations, support worst-case and thermal studies, run tests, and assist with design reviews and standards assignments.

Accountable for :

• Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan of his/her PG/PL

• Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications

• In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets

• Support technical architecture and standards assignments

• Follow Standardization rules

• Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers

His/her scope could include: all or part of the design, integration, validation of blocks / product

Complying with Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules:

• Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation

• Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies

• Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests

Management follow-up

• Reports the progress of his tasks

• Escalate risks
