Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Member of Technical Staff in Hyderabad to join our product development teams. You will collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum team to shape requirements, write robust .NET desktop applications, and ensure high quality through reviews, unit tests and documentation.

You should have 4–7 years of hands-on software development in C#, with WinForms/WPF, strong OO design, and experience with Azure and Git in an Agile setup. Excellent communication across stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of hands-on software development experience.
• BE, BTech, MCA in Computer science, IT, Electronics, or related stream.
• Expertise in developing the .Net desktop applications.
• Demonstrate strong design and coding skills in multiple languages, one of which must be C#.
• Experience in Win forms/ WPF development is required.
• Excellent knowledge on Advanced Object-Oriented Programming concepts & design patterns.
• Knowledge on Unit Testing: MSTest, NUnit Frameworks.
• Experience with Azure, Git, and related tools.
• Experience of using Agile methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand, define and implement solution requirements with Product Owner and Scrum Team.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily scrums.
• Ensure code is reviewed, unit tested, documented, and delivered to quality standards.

Job Title: Member of Technical Staff

Key responsibilities:

• You will work with the Product Owner, Stakeholders, and the Scrum Team to understand, define and implement solution requirements.
• Participate in Scrum meetings with other team members including sprint planning and estimating, backlog refinement, daily scrum meetings, sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews.
• Ensure your code is fully reviewed, unit tested and documented and delivered to agreed quality standards.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

• 4 - 7 years of hands-on software development experience
• BE, B Tech, MCA in Computer science, IT, Electronics, or related stream.
• Expertise in developing the .Net desktop applications.
• Demonstrate examples of strong design and coding skills in multiple languages, one of which must be C#.
• Experience in Win forms/ WPF development is required.
• Excellent knowledge on Advanced Object-Oriented Programming concepts & design patterns.
• Knowledge on Unit Testing: one or more of these MS TEST, NUnit Frame work.
• Experience of working with Azure, Git, and related tools.
• Experience of using Agile methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills, working with a broad range of people, including Product Owners, Testers & Product Support across sites.
• Positive approach to problem solving with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Good to have skills:

• Experience in writing automation test cases.
• Knowledge of cloud development, REST API's and CI/CD pipeline will be added advantage.

Hybrid working
