Job summary

C L PRODUCTS INDIA LIMITED in Delhi is urgently seeking a hands-on formulation chemist with at least 3 years of experience in shampoos, creams, body washes and serums to join our growing personal care and Ayurvedic brand on-site at Rithala.

You will develop and optimize formulations, ensure BIS and INCI compliance, manage stability testing, document batches, source materials economically and contribute to trend-driven product innovations.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Cosmetic Technology is essential.
• Minimum 3 years in personal care formulation.
• M.Sc in Chemistry adds advantage.
• Experience with shampoos, creams, body washes and serums.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize formulations for shampoos, creams, body washes, serums and other hair, skin and body care products.
• Build a perfect product base – touch & feel, foam, consistency and mildness – independent of fragrance and colour.
• Conduct bench trials, stability testing and scale-up from lab to production.
• Source and evaluate raw materials, actives and ingredients cost-effectively.
• Ensure compliance with BIS, cosmetic regulations and labelling (INCI) norms.
• Maintain accurate formulation records, SOPs and batch documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve existing products.
• Stay updated on market trends, new actives and herbal/Ayurvedic innovations.
