Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize formulations for shampoos, creams, body washes, serums, and related products.
• Build a robust product base focusing on touch, foam, consistency, and mildness irrespective of fragrance and color.
• Conduct bench trials, stability testing, and scale-up from lab to production.
• Source and evaluate raw materials and actives cost-effectively.
• Ensure BIS, cosmetic regulations and INCI labelling compliance.
• Maintain accurate formulation records, SOPs and batch documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve existing products.
• Stay updated on market trends and herbal/Ayurvedic innovations.

Are you a hands-on formulation chemist with experience in shampoos, creams, body washes and serums? We are a growing personal care and Ayurvedic brand looking for talent to join immediately.

Location: Rithala Industrial Area, Delhi (on-site)

Experience: Minimum 3 years in personal care formulation

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹65,000 per month

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Cosmetic Technology (essential); M.Sc Chemistry an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and optimize formulations for shampoos, creams, body washes, serums and other hair, skin and body care products.
2. Build a perfect product base – touch & feel, foam, consistency and mildness – independent of fragrance and colour.
3. Conduct bench trials, stability testing and scale-up from lab to production.
4. Source and evaluate raw materials, actives and ingredients cost-effectively.
5. Ensure compliance with BIS, cosmetic regulations and labelling (INCI) norms.
6. Maintain accurate formulation records, SOPs and batch documentation.
7. Troubleshoot production issues and improve existing products.
8. Stay updated on market trends, new actives and herbal/Ayurvedic innovations.
