Job summary

UltraTech Cement in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Laboratory Technician to assist in developing construction chemical products like tile adhesives, grouts, and waterproofing compounds. You will support testing of raw materials and finished products, prepare samples for demonstrations and field trials, and maintain lab equipment and records.

You will work closely with production, QA, and technical services to ensure safety and quality procedures are followed during product development and testing

Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with laboratory testing and quality procedures.
• Ability to record observations accurately and maintain records.
• Good coordination with production and QA teams.

• Assist in formulation and development of construction chemical products such as tile adhesives, grouts, waterproofing compounds, admixtures, repair mortars, and sealants.
• Support laboratory testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Conduct physical and chemical tests and record observations accurately.
• Assist in product performance evaluations and application trials.
• Prepare samples for internal testing, customer demonstrations, and field trials.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and test records.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and technical services teams during product development activities.
