Job summary

Vrinda Global Hyderabad is seeking a senior leader to oversee Technical, Quality (QA/QC) and R&D, including the laboratory, with end-to-end product development responsibilities. The role requires hands-on experience in construction chemicals, development of cost-effective products, coordination with operations, and ensuring ISO documentation and quality systems.

You will drive new technologies, manage third-party testing and approvals, and mentor the team while aligning projects with the company

Qualifications

• Experience in Technical, Quality (QA/QC) and R&D management.
• Hands-on exposure to new product development of construction chemicals.
• Familiarity with ISO documentation and quality systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle Technical, Quality (QA/QC) and R&D department along with laboratory.
• Develop cost effective concepts and solutions with operations.
• Implement new technologies, products, and processes; improvise existing products.
• Manage third party testing and approvals; liaise with government/private institutes.
• Train the team; act as SPOC for training tools.
• Ensure ISO documentation and related certification activities.
• Coordinate raw material planning for new product development with purchase/production.
• Drive NPD projects in line with company strategy and monthly reviews.

Job description

Shall be responsible of handling Technical, Quality (QA/QC) and R&D department along with laboratory.

• Strong exposure and hands-on experience of new product development of construction chemicals like Tile

Adhesives, Wall Putty, Epoxy based products, waterproofing products, Coating & Sealant, Plasticizer etc.

from scratch along with extensive production planning.

• Develop cost effective and competitive product, concepts development & effective solutions by coordinating

with Operation and Production business unit.

• Implement new technologies, products, and manufacturing process in the company and improvise the

existing products.

• Handles third party testing and approvals of the products.
• Responsible for contacting various Government / private institutes for approval of products.
• Resolve/handle all quality complaint issue.
• Suggest training tools to enhance employee performance and skill development also performs as SPOC to

train the team.

• Hands on experience of ISO documentation related to certification.
• Exposure to TQM certification and knowledge of IS/EN/ASTM/ ANSI Codes is an added advantage.
• To ensure that all internal R & D/ Quality systems and practices of Company are in alignment with the

Company strategy, monitor the execution of the Research & Development of New Products/existing

products.

• To deliver allocated development of new products on-time, in-budget and to-specification.
• Improving product quality and putting quality systems in place, monthly audit of Quality process.
• Directs and Execute activities of Lab in process of new product development, prepare MSDS and Process

Sheets, Job Sheets with internal coding of Raw material .

• Directs and Execute in planning for Raw Material for new product development and product modifications

with purchase department and production department well in advance.

• Building cost effective and alternative suppliers for all raw materials like additives, fillers, and pigments etc.

Research, design and evaluate materials & processes.

• Directs activities of QA & Lab technicians setting up prototype units for Application of the new products and

perform experimental operations, to get confidence of Salesperson on new products.

• Evaluates performance records of new Products, based on sales personnel and customer feedback, physical

performance of products, submits report of findings to management.

• Work with Sales and Marketing to identify, develop and evaluate new products and new technologies and

monthly report to management.

• Work with customers and Salespeople to support field trials of new products
• Make recommendations and justify needs for resources to support product development, technical service,
