Job summary

Tenax India Industrial Chemical is seeking a hands-on Research & Development professional to support formulation development and testing. You will work under the R&D Manager to develop new products and improve existing ones, evaluate raw materials, and calibrate equipment in a QA-conscious environment.

The role involves day-to-day lab batch manufacturing, documentation of results, and participation in project reviews with the R&D Head.

Responsibilities

• Undertake experimental work in accordance with R&D Manager/Management to develop new products and improve functioning of existing products.
• Research product formulations and properties of raw materials.
• Establish product specifications and procedures as required.
• Obtain process technology and equipment information for production.
• Testing and evaluation of raw materials.
• Undertake day-to-day batch manufacturing during lab-scale development of existing and new products.
• Formulate product prototypes and evaluate them for chemical and physical properties, performance and stability.
• Develop reports and documents detailing project processes, results and conclusions.
• Calibration of equipment.
• Support QA issues related to rework, complaints, incidents, and rejections.
• Record work and generate reports as requested.
• Regular project reviews with R&D Head.
• Conduct research and field evaluation on new products.
• Ensure that all duties within quality control are carried out in compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality management systems.
