GIVA is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join the Projects Commercial team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, cost management, billing, rate cards, and vendor management across projects.

The candidate will conduct quantity take-offs, prepare rate analyses, monitor costs, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and clients to identify cost-saving opportunities and support commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quantity Surveying / Projects Commercial
• Ability to prepare BOQs, rate cards, and cost estimates
• Experience reading architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills

Responsabilités

• Create BOQs for design and project requirements.
• Check JMS and invoices for projects.
• Prepare Rate Cards for services and products.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings.
• Prepare rate analysis, cost estimates, budgets, and material quantity estimates.
• Monitor project costs, variations, extra items, and final accounts.
• Manage subcontractors, work orders, purchase orders, and interim payment applications.
• Coordinate and negotiate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and clients.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support commercial decision-making.

About the Role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join the Projects Commercial team. The role will be responsible for BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, cost management, billing, rate cards, and vendor management across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create BOQs for design and project requirements.
• Check JMS and invoices for concerned projects.
• Prepare Rate Cards for different services and products.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings.
• Prepare rate analysis, cost estimates, budgets, and material quantity estimates.
• Monitor project costs, variations, extra items, and final accounts.
• Manage subcontractors, work orders, purchase orders, and interim payment applications.
• Coordinate and negotiate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and clients.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support commercial decision-making.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Quantity Take-off, BOQ Preparation, and Measurement.
• Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, cost control, and variation costing.
• Understanding of contracts, subcontractor management, claims, and commercial documentation.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel; AutoCAD for drawing reading and measurements.
• Knowledge of MS Project and ERP/SAP is an advantage.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong numerical, analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and vendor/stakeholder coordination skills.
