Job summary

Kenthomes is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 4+ years of experience to manage cost consultancy activities across projects in India. You will prepare estimates, BOQs, and feasibility studies, develop tender documents, and assist in contractor selection and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in quantity surveying, cost consultancy, or related commercial roles.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS/AIQS) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and feasibility studies during design phase.
• Develop tender documentation and assist in contractor selection and negotiations.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures; update budgets and track variation.
• Perform interim valuations, issue payment certificates, and manage subcontractor payments.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks; perform value engineering to optimize cost-efficiency.
• Administer contracts, including variation orders, claims, and final accounts.
• Conduct site inspections to validate progress and completed works.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, health & safety, and quality standards.
• Prepare and present regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final project summaries to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers.
