Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids in India seeks a specialist to conduct Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) of power transformers and components, and to lead FMEA workshops across manufacturing and engineering teams.

You will coach teams, ensure high quality of FMEA activities, and share expertise across sites to identify and implement improvements in product and process design.

Job description

• Conduct Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) of new and existing products (Power Transformers, and Transformer components) and their manufacturing processes.
• Facilitate Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) workshops.
• Collaborate with all departments involved in development of new product or manufacturing process
• Lead reviews of manufacturing processes using Process FMEA.
• Ensure high quality of whole FMEA activity and correct application of the method.
• Coach the production or design team in FMEA method.
• Consult on projects with regard to quality improvement opportunities.
• Share expertise and knowledge between different manufacturing and engineering sites
