Jai Ganesh Industries in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra, invites fresh graduates to join as trainee mechanical technicians. You will assist senior engineers in maintenance, learn to interpret drawings, and participate in installation at customer sites.

Training will cover CMMs, Laser Trackers, and 3D Scanners, with emphasis on safe work practices and documentation. Candidates with ITI/Diploma in mechanical, BE, or BSc (Maths/Physics) are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Education: ITI/ Diploma (mechanical) or BE (mechanical) or BSc (Maths/Physics).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, drawings, and measurements.
• Willingness to learn CMM, Laser Trackers and 3D Scanners.

Responsabilités

• Assist senior engineers in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems.
• Learn to interpret drawings, schematics and specifications for system components.
• Participate in installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites.
• Work with CMMs, Laser Trackers and 3D scanners for precision measurement and alignment.
• Develop hands-on skills to operate, calibrate and maintain these machines.
• Collaborate with team to identify process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Document measurement results and activities for reporting and analysis.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Attend trainings to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Assist senior engineers in performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on mechanical systems and equipment.
• 2. Learn to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to understand system components and functionality.
• 3. Participate in installation and commissioning activities for new mechanical equipment at customer sites.
• 4. Work on CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), Laser Trackers, and 3D Scanners under guidance to perform precision measurement and alignment tasks.
• 5. Develop hands-on skills to operate, calibrate, and maintain these machines as per project requirements.
• 6. Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
• 7. Document measurement results, work activities, observations, and findings accurately for reporting and analysis purposes.
• 8. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• 9. Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars to continuously enhance technical skills and Knowledge.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1. Education Criteria-ITI, Diploma (mechanical), BE(mechanical) Or BSc Graduation (Maths, Physics)
• 2. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, drawings, and measurements.
• 3. Willingness to learn and operate CMM, Laser Trackers, and Scanners.
• 4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• 5. Good communication skills (verbal & written) to interact with team members and customers.
• 6. Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CAD or measurement software is an added advantage.
• 7. Ability to work in a team environment with attention to detail.
• 8. Willingness to travel to customer sites as per project requirements.
• 9. Freshers or candidates with up to 12 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
• 10. Having 4 and 2 wheeler licenses would be preferred.
