Job summary

Godrej Properties is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure robust quality management at large project sites. You will implement ISO-aligned processes, manage inspections, calibrations and NCR closures while coordinating with clients, consultants and project teams.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with 10–15 years in a large-scale property developer, and hands-on experience with high-end finishes and international quality standards, working on-site in Mumbai region.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 10-15 Years of Experience.
• Must have worked in large-scale Property Developer Company.
• Experience in high-end luxury residential finishing is a must.
• Exposure to international quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Clients/ Consultants regarding Method Statements approval & implementation, material selection / testing & approval.
• Ensuring the process control as per approved methodology and SOP.
• Mock-up Management.
• Carry out root-cause analysis of non-conformities noticed in supplies and construction activities, customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of non-conformities/complaints.
• Maintaining and monitoring calibration of measuring equipment.
• Concrete Mix design as per Project norms and customer requirements.
• Responsible for conducting ISO/ Customer Audits at Site.
• Manage and resolve quality issues raised by clients, authorities, internal observations during their visit / audits.
• Inspection of field activities as per approved inspection plans, obtaining clearances from clients / consultants and making reports, issuing NCRs and closing after corrective / preventive actions.
• Establishing Periodic Quality review with Project Manager (Site) and Quality Head, by conducting statistical analysis of defined Quality Parameters.
• Compilation of MIS and sharing it with Project Manager & Quality Head. Analysis of MIS, identification of scope for improvement and sharing it with section in charges for brainstorming at site
• Maintaining applicable Quality records duly updated, legible and easily retrievable.
• Implementation of Inspection and Test Plan at site as per approved frequency.
• Co-ordination with Customers for stage / final inspection wherever required and obtaining clearances.
• Giving clearance to proceed the work after pre and Post checks
• 16. Awareness for Quality Culture at Site
• Identifying the training needs to staff and workers and Evaluation of Competency after training.
• Receipt inspection of materials, equipment and other project items received at site.
