Job summary

Shubham Flexible Packaging Machines Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Quality Head to lead the quality function for packaging machines and components.

You will oversee QA and QC, establish robust inspection plans, and drive ISO 9001 compliance across manufacturing. You will develop CAPA programs, analyze root causes, mentor the quality team, and collaborate with Design, Production, Purchasing, and Service teams to deliver reliable products.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of quality leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and CAPA processes.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and mechanical tolerances.
• Proven supplier quality management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control department.
• Manage incoming material, in-process, and final machine inspections.
• Ensure quality across machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and testing.
• Develop and implement quality procedures and QMS.
• Conduct root cause analysis and CAPA actions.
• Handle customer complaints, supplier quality issues, and audits.
• Reduce rejection, rework, and defects via continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, PPC, Assembly, Electrical, Automation, and Service.
• Maintain quality documentation, monitor KPIs, and ISO 9001 compliance where applicable.
• Lead, train, and develop the quality team.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
