Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Compressor Systems & Services in Ghaziabad seeks a seasoned Quality Leader to manage Quality Management Systems, customer and supplier quality, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. The role ensures ISO compliance, drives audits, and leads cross-functional quality initiatives to support growth.

You will guide root-cause analysis, APQP/PPAP activities, and Lean Six Sigma projects, mentoring teams and collaborating with Production, Engineering, and R&D to embed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
  • 12–15 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management within manufacturing industries.
  • Proven experience in Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, and Manufacturing Quality.
  • Strong knowledge of QMS standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans, and Problem-Solving Tools.
  • Experience in leading internal and external audits.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain Quality Management Systems in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
  • Coordinate internal, customer, and certification audits and ensure corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by addressing complaints, warranty issues, and quality concerns.
  • Lead root cause analysis using 8D, Why-Why, Fishbone, and other methods.
  • Coordinate with customers for timely corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop suppliers through audits and capability assessments.
  • Monitor supplier performance via quality KPIs and scorecards.
  • Drive supplier quality improvement projects and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing Kaizen and Six Sigma across the plant.
  • Identify opportunities for waste reduction, process optimization, and cost savings.
  • Foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and develop quality teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Conduct quality awareness programs and training sessions for employees.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and R&D.
  • Support NPI through APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Validation.
  • Ensure quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Overview

As a Quality Leader, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of Quality Management Systems, Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, Product Quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. You will drive quality excellence across manufacturing operations, ensure compliance with international standards, enhance customer satisfaction, and support business growth through robust quality processes and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Lead and maintain Quality Management Systems in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
  • Ensure successful execution of internal, customer, and certification audits.
  • Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, and standards.
Customer Quality Management
  • Drive customer satisfaction by addressing complaints, warranty issues, and quality concerns.
  • Lead root cause analysis using 8D, Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and other problem-solving methodologies.
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
Supplier Quality Management

Requirements
