Job summary

GDN Infra invites applications for a Quality In-Charge at its Bagalur plant near Bengaluru. You will own quality of inputs and outputs, supervise lab and field testing, ensure adherence to IS codes, and coordinate with site teams to resolve quality issues.

The role requires a Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, 3+ years in quality control at an RMC plant or concrete lab, and clear written English for reports. SAP experience is a plus; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• At least 3 years in quality control at an RMC plant or concrete lab.
• Hands-on cube, aggregate and fresh concrete testing; working knowledge of IS codes.
• Clear written English for test reports and customer emails.
• SAP experience is a plus; we will train you on SAP and our in-house plant app.

Responsibilities

• Test and clear every raw material consignment as per the inspection and test plan.
• Run the cube cycle: register, customer invitations, crushing on the due date, reports to customers.
• In-process checks: moisture correction, slump, cube casting and fresh concrete temperature.
• Attend and close site quality complaints within the agreed time.
• Keep daily QC records and the lab calibration register up to date.
• Manage recipes against approved mix designs and update stock in SAP.
• Lead and schedule the field technicians each day.

Job description

GDN Infra installs and operates dedicated ready-mix concrete plants on project sites and at ready-mix yards, under one contract, with its own plant, its own crew and its own in-house app. Our first plant is a 75 m³/hr twin-shaft plant at Bagalur, North Bengaluru, run for ACC (Adani Group).

The role

We are hiring a Quality In-Charge for the Bagalur plant. You own the quality of everything entering and leaving the plant: raw materials in, concrete out. The lab is fully equipped, including a 3000 kN compression testing machine, lab pan mixer, sieve sets and a digital oven.

What you will do

• Test and clear every raw material consignment as per the inspection and test plan
• Run the cube cycle: register, customer invitations, crushing on the due date, reports to customers
• In-process checks: moisture correction, slump, cube casting and fresh concrete temperature
