Job summary

Siemens Energy India Limited seeks a Quality Executive-Testing to lead HV equipment and switchgear testing in its Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar facilities. You will coordinate test field activities, drive routine breaker tests, and participate in NCC management, ensuring IEC-compliant testing and EHS adherence.

The role requires 1–2 years in HV equipment testing, with a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Office/site-based position with a focus on quality and client-facing coordination.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Electrical) required.
• 1–2 years of experience in high voltage equipment testing (test field).
• Experience with circuit breaker testing and HV test labs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate testing of HV equipment and switchgear.
• Lead routine testing of circuit breakers and participate in NCC management activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage test field planning.
• Ensure QA, EHS and adherence to IEC standards in testing activities.

• Overall responsibility for complete HV-Equipment & Switchgear
• Overall Technical responsibility for the Test field area in breaker.
• Overall responsibility for Co-ordination and planning activity with Cross function teams.
• Overall responsibility for Routine testing of Circuit breaker activity.
• Preparation and active participation in NCC management activity.
• Overall responsibility for Teamwork and co-ordination.
• Awareness of Autoscan test software with DCRM test.
• Awareness of wiring activity
• IEC awareness for AIS equipment’s.
• As per IEC Type testing awareness of Circuit breakers.
• EHS awareness.

• Knowledge acquired in 1 - 2 years in High Voltage equipment’s (Test field)
• B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.

Technical Skills

• Extensive experience with Autoscan test software with DCRM test.
• Solid Understanding of Routine testing of circuit breaker.
• Deep Knowledge about and Experience with Testing Techniques of HV test lab.
• Extensive Experience in understanding and managing customer FATs.
• Deep Knowledge of applicable norms and standards (IEC & work instructions)
