Job summary

Devyani International Limited in Gurugram seeks a Quality Executive to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance across commissary operations. You will monitor QA processes, perform inspections, verify labels, and maintain records.

Candidates with 1-2 years in Food Quality/Safety and a B.Tech/M.Sc in Food Technology or Microbiology are preferred. This role emphasizes adherence to FSMS, FSSAI, GMP/HACCP, and hygiene standards within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / M.Sc in Food Technology or Microbiology preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in Food Quality / Food Safety / QA/QC.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards, quality control processes and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure FSMS and FSSAI compliance.
• Conduct in-process quality inspections throughout production.
• Monitor GMP, cleaning, sanitation, and personal hygiene practices.
• Verify batch coding, packaging and product labelling.
• Monitor CCP/OPRP, metal detector and flour sifter controls.
• Monitor sanitizer concentration and temperature.
• Ensure compliance with product specifications and recipes.
• Monitor allergen segregation and controls.
• Verify secondary shelf-life and thawing requirements.
• Review and maintain QA and production records.
• Conduct incoming raw material inspections as per acceptance criteria.
• Perform dispatch verification, including documentation, labelling, vehicle hygiene and product temperature.
