Job description

Asia’s leading robotics solutions provider, automating enterprise supply chains since 2017. We build syncOS — the industry-first no-code platform that lets manufacturers and warehouse operators integrate, reprogram, and scale automation systems without halting production or calling in specialists. Our autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) run 24/7 for global brands — transforming production lines in hours, not weeks.

As Botsync scales AMR production, this Senior QC Engineer role leads factory-side quality control, autonomy software installation, and validation — acting as the technical bridge between engineering, deployment, and manufacturing teams, and working closely with hardware manufacturing partners in Shenzhen to ensure deployed systems meet technical and operational standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Hardware and software integration
  • Perform autonomy stack installation and configuration on AMRs at factory sites
  • Integrate and validate hardware components including LiDARs, safety PLCs, motor drivers, and onboard compute systems
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking and communication systems (ROS-based or equivalent architectures)
  • Support hardware bring-up, integration testing, simulation, and R&D activities during non-FAT periods
Quality control and testing
  • Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and verify AMR functionality, safety, and performance before shipment
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software integration issues together with factory engineering teams
  • Uphold engineering best practices, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures throughout the AMR production lifecycle
  • Mentor junior QC engineers and help define quality standards and best practices across the AMR production lifecycle
Cross-functional coordination and documentation
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering and deployment teams to ensure alignment on system quality and technical requirements
  • Serve as the engineering liaison for partner customization requests and deployment-related technical coordination
  • Maintain detailed installation records, FAT reports, issue logs, and technical documentation
  • Contribute to engineering change requests and continuous improvement initiatives across robotics systems and processes
Essential
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, or Computer Engineering
  • 5–8 years of experience in AMR, mobile robotics, or industrial automation environments
  • Strong understanding of robot hardware including motor controllers, encoders, LiDARs, and sensors
  • Proficiency in Linux, ROS, C++, and Python for robotics software development and integration
  • Hands-on experience with robot system integration, troubleshooting, and debugging
  • Prior experience mentoring or informally leading junior engineers, or owning QC processes end-to-end
Highly desirable
  • Familiarity with networking and industrial communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus, and related systems

  • Prior experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), commissioning, or on-site deployment activities

  • Competitive salary

  • Comprehensive health benefits package

  • Hustle of a young startup, always something to do and something to improve

  • Opportunities for professional development and growth into management roles

  • Collaborative and inclusive work environment
