The role involves executing test cases, identifying defects, and contributing to automation scripts using Selenium with Java, Postman for API testing, and basic SQL data validation. A strong team fit and eagerness to learn CI/CD practices are valued.

Qualificações

• 0–2 years of software testing experience or strong QA foundation.
• Basic understanding of manual testing concepts.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Basic exposure to Selenium automation with Java.
• Understanding of Core Java fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Basic database concepts (PostgreSQL/MS SQL Server).
• Familiarity with Git.
• Ability to document defects with severity, priority, and steps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Team-oriented in Agile environment.
• Willingness to learn automation frameworks and CI/CD.

Responsabilidades

Software Tester to support our engineering team in delivering high-quality, reliable, and user-friendly software solutions. The candidate will be involved in both manual and automation testing activities and will work closely with senior QA engineers, developers, and product teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Prepare and execute manual test cases based on project requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear severity, priority, and reproduction steps.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• Support automation testing activities using Selenium with Java.
• Assist in creating and maintaining automation test scripts.
• Perform basic API testing using Postman.
• Validate data using database queries in PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain proper test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports.
• Learn and support automation frameworks, version control, and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in software testing or a strong foundation in QA concepts.
• Basic understanding of manual testing concepts.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Basic exposure to Selenium automation with Java.
