Responsibilities

• Material Testing: Conduct and supervise field testing for materials like concrete slump, cube casting, reinforcement steel tensile tests, and brick/block absorption tests.
• Stage-wise Inspections: Perform quality checks at key milestones including excavation, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, brickwork and plastering.
• Finishing Work Audits: Inspect waterproofing, flooring, tiling, painting, joinery, and facade works.
• Snagging Management: Identify defects, raise NCRs and coordinate corrective actions before handover.

Role & responsibilities ;The Quality Engineer at a residential construction site ensures that all structural, finishing, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works strictly comply with approved drawings, structural designs, and national building standards. The primary focus is preventing structural defects, maximizing material efficiency, and delivering high-quality residential units ready for final handover.

Preferred candidate profile B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

Quality Control & On-Site Inspection

• Material Testing: Conduct and supervise field testing for incoming raw materials (e.g., concrete slump tests, cube casting, reinforcement steel tensile tests, brick/block water absorption tests).
• Stage-wise Inspections: Execute rigorous quality checks at critical milestones, including excavation, shuttering, reinforcement tying, concreting, brickwork, and plastering.
• Finishing Work Audits: Inspect high-visibility residential finishing elements including waterproofing, flooring, tiling, internal/external painting, joinery, and facade works.
• Snagging Management: Identify defects, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and coordinate closely with site engineers and contractors to implement corrective actions before final handovers.
