Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Quality Engineer - Metrology & Lab / FAI in Ghaziabad, India, to oversee metrology and inspection activities, ensure FAI compliance, and guarantee product conformance to customer and engineering requirements. You will coordinate FAI, manage metrology lab, validate layouts, operate inspection equipment, and support audits and PPAP documentation, with travel 15-25%.

A strong background in GD&T, CMM programming, MSA/GR&R, and calibration systems is required, with

Qualifications

• Expertise in dimensional metrology and inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of FAI, PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, PFMEA.
• Understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience with CMM operations and programming.
• Knowledge of MSA, GR&R, SPC, and calibration systems.
• Proficiency in quality documentation and report preparation.

Job Overview:

To manage metrology and laboratory inspection activities, ensuring accurate measurement systems, First Article Inspection (FAI) compliance, and product conformance to customer and engineering requirements.
