Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Ghaziabad is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage metrology and laboratory inspection activities, ensure FAI compliance, and uphold product conformance to customer and engineering requirements.

The role covers coordinating FAI activities, managing a metrology lab, validating GD&T layouts, and supporting PPAP and audits. Candidates should have expertise in metrology and CMM-based inspection.

Qualifications

• Expertise in dimensional metrology and inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of FAI, PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, and PFMEA.
• Understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
• Manage metrology laboratory operations and inspection plans.
• Validate dimensional layouts for new and modified components.
• Operate and support advanced inspection equipment.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of quality measuring instruments.
• Generate FAI reports and PPAP documentation where required.
• Support new product introduction and engineering change validations.
• Conduct MSA studies including GR&R.
• Support internal, customer, and certification audits.

Job Overview:

To manage metrology and laboratory inspection activities, ensuring accurate measurement systems, First Article Inspection (FAI) compliance, and product conformance to customer and engineering requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
• Manage metrology laboratory operations and inspection plans.
• Validate dimensional layouts for new and modified components.
• Operate and support advanced inspection equipment.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of quality measuring instruments.
• Generate FAI reports and PPAP documentation where required.
• Support new product introduction and engineering change validations.

Requirements:
